Randomly decided to check in after years and see talk of Doordie and Amel. Lots of fun memories! Arguably my first long time character, Narwyn, ended up closely aligned with Amel as his protege.
Doordie was one of the best RP's I ever played with. His stories, with his character Amel, were amazing. Rich, deep, complex. I hope Doordie is doing well! You have a really great Uncle!

It was around this time I offered my ring, my bond of the gold dragon, to aid with the curse still left on the Queen. Perhaps a risky move, but the results speak for themselves. My camp kept growing, and I was one day visited by a pair of kin. A pair that had apparently laid siege to the Crossroads campfire a few days before. They approached me seeking a warlord. Imagine that! I even chuckle as I write this.
But it was no laughing matter. They both came seeking a society, and they would not accept the watch, and were not interested in the Shire clan. I was not sure my camp was right for them either, as my goal is peace. To create a safe place for kin to live a peaceful life, but this did not sit well with the blackscale. She thought I only had silvered words to offer. I do wish I could offer words of gold, but I know my dream is far fetched, and we may never be able to have what I strive for. Still, the Green was willing to give peace a chance. He had lived his entire life in camps, having known nothing but strife. I know it will be hard for him to adapt, but I am happy I am able to give him this chance. The poor man had not even been named, so I gave him the name Richard d'Gris. He even went on his knee for me, and called me his queen. I certainly do not feel like a Queen, but I will do my absolute best to bring him a better future.
Some days later, a rather strange lady knight approached my camp, seeking the leader of this bandit camp of outlaws. It was strange to be called such, and I do not appreciate it. I am not a bandit, and not an outlaw by choice. Still, she came to us for a reason. She needed a place to care for a wounded child. Naturally, I could not turn such down, and while I did not have much to offer, it gave me incentive to begin. Strange as this encounter may have been, it gave me the kick I needed to let my camp become something more than just an idea.
We got to work. Words cannot express how happy I am that I was not alone with this. I had friends who helped me build this new sanctuary. It was hard, and none of us really had experience, but we all chipped in, and soon enough, we had our first building. A remote clinic. Others have joined me as well, and my camp even saw its first metallic! Imagine that! Her story was unfortunately not a pleasant one, but I will do my absolute best to give her a good place to stay.
Remember that I wrote I had offered my ring away? In the time of writing this, I have still not gotten it back. Everything I have done has been without it. I am even still able to wield the old gear of the Celestial Knights, sold by Rianna. I am extremely proud of everything I have accomplished, and I will continue to work for a bright future.
My tail has even grown, marking the end of my awakening. It is now thanks to so many, that I can officially say:
I made it trough my transition with a pure heart. I thank you all for helping me do so. I hope my writings will be of help, and I wish you all the very best.
Yours, still in the light.
Amana Tedya. Dragonkin sorceress of Sune.
(( Wow! Had no idea this would become that long. I figured it would be short enough for me to make into IG books, but ten posts? Nope! I instead open the floor for characters to react here. Say they managed to get a hold of a copy in one way or the other. ))
