Randomly decided to check in after years and see talk of Doordie and Amel. Lots of fun memories! Arguably my first long time character, Narwyn, ended up closely aligned with Amel as his protege.
Doordie was one of the best RP's I ever played with. His stories, with his character Amel, were amazing. Rich, deep, complex. I hope Doordie is doing well! You have a really great Uncle!

Hey there folks. Well I'm sure most by now know the story of Shrek from the Dreamworks release of 2001. Well as I found out Seattle was playing host to the World Premiere of Shrek the Musical.
I went last night to a performance and I swear the experience put a totally new spin on the way I saw the story! With a lush array of colorful and talented cast members, a well thought out script, and in most cases flawless performance this show is captivating from beginning to end.
It combines the wonders of musical theater: song, dance, and epic story into a funny, whimsical two and a half hour festival of enjoyment. With innovative stage props, costume design and seamless set transitions. It was really a joy to watch and if you are a fan of Shrek you will certainly love this show!
It is running at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle for one more week before it head out for Broadway. SO if you are in or can get to the Seattle area this week I strongly recommend you go see this show. It's got something for everyone. Adults and children alike. The tickets that I purchased were around 90 dollars but! They were excellent seats and we could see the entire set from the way the theater is designed.
So if you've got the time to do so and the will of interest to check this out while it's still avalible at a low non-Broadway price - I suggest you go Because you will leave the theater feeling that it was well worth the ticket price
Much love and music for all!

Thanks for the review. Living no where near there, I will have to wait for the film. Which is probably just as well. Last time I went to a live performance people were so uppity and snooty when I took five minutes to open the plastic wrap on my Raisinets. Like they never dropped their 32 oz. soda on the lady in front of them. Sheesh.

Haha! Well they wouldn't let any consessions into the theater - but I snuck my Skittles in anyways! I will be damned if I do not have sugary indulgences while I watch a show!!

I would love to see it. My only bet would be Broadway since I'm just a few minutes from there.
However, it would probably cost the 90$ for a ticket and my first born.
All kidding aside, I wouldn't be surprised if the price on Broadway was double what you payed. Those thief's! But, hey, it'll probably sell anyway so it's working for 'em.

I would go to it if Miggen and I can get some $$$ to get there. From the looks of it, it looks like a $500 - $600 plane ticket to Seattle from Cincinnati.
