Randomly decided to check in after years and see talk of Doordie and Amel. Lots of fun memories! Arguably my first long time character, Narwyn, ended up closely aligned with Amel as his protege.
Doordie was one of the best RP's I ever played with. His stories, with his character Amel, were amazing. Rich, deep, complex. I hope Doordie is doing well! You have a really great Uncle!

Hey all,
Just a quick message to everyone (players and staff alike) - I am making efforts in the private Thayan forums to allow for an open area for people interested in creating stories with the Thayans to discuss their ideas and get the proverbial balls rolling. We are open to pretty much any collaborative 'venture' that can be created between the Thayans and allies or potential allies, people that need their help with things, ideas from enemies: basically the sorts of things that you might think would be good to pursue but don't know how to kick-start it off.
It can just be a quick discussion or heads up really for instance - "My character wants to achieve X, which has these possible implications on the Thayans: is that possible / how can we work together to achieve that / what sort of compromise is possible?
Traditionally we've done this through PMs on the forum or tells in game, but communicating things can get a little difficult (and tedious!) when two people have a conversation and everything needs to be relayed to "everyone else"!
If this seems appealing to you then please PM me and when things are done I'll make arrangements for you to get (limited ) access to our forum. The principle behind this being to avoid these plans and stories "getting out" before they are done, in order to preserve interest amongst anyone else that might get involved as things evolve!
Personally, I am generally not interested in "heavily scripted" suggestions, but rather where there is an outcome in mind and the rest is open to the development of the details through IG actions with a dusting of forum storytelling
Please note, this is not an invitation for people to ask for, and expect, a million and one ways to destroy the Thayans. This is about creating interesting stories and RP, where there are potentially risks for both sides(!) depending on how things eventually pan out . . . !
If you don't think such an offer is necessary but want to discuss your ideas with a Thayan player anyway, please pick one from the active list here and send a PM their way.
If you are or have been considering -making- a Thayan PC again please get in touch as we're always looking for people to "continue the Legacy"!
